Chelsea took the lead against Stoke within two minutes and it was new boy Alvaro Morata who prolonged his goalscoring streak.
Stoke’s makeshift defence was exposed with the first attack from the Blues. Azpilicueta played a hopeful long ball in behind the back line.
A lack of communication from the Potters defence saw Morata through on Butland and the Spaniard slotted past the keeper.
