The Catalan side have completed the signing of the young French forward, after weeks of arduous negotiations with Borussia Dortmund.
Ousmane Dembele is FC Barcelona’s latest signing, becoming the second-most expensive signing in history. Borussia Dortmund were strong negotiators, but finally both clubs struck a deal.
The tug-of-war between Barca and Dortmund had gone on for weeks before culminating in the most expensive signing in the history of the Catalan club.
Barcelona will pay 105 million euros plus add-ons and the Frenchman will sign a five-year contract with a buy-out clause set at 400 million euros. He will wear the No 11 shirt.
The 20-year-old, who is expected to replace Neymar up front, will arrive in Barcelona on Sunday. He will undergo a medical on Monday morning before his official unveiling at the Camp Nou.
