Neymar is not happy at Paris Saint-Germain and has told friends he wants to move to Real Madrid next summer, according to ‘AS’ journalist Ignacio Miguelez.
Miguelez claims that the Brazilian has told his father, who was influential in the £198m deal that took him from Barcelona to PSG, to secure a summer move to the Spanish capital.
“Neymar is satisfied with the salary he receives at PSG, but he is sorry to have moved to the club,” the journalist told Spanish television show ‘El Chiringuito’.
“He wants to go to Real Madrid in June. He has already told his friends and asked his father to get the ball rolling over a summer switch so he does not have to endure another season in France.”
It has also been reported that Neymar would consider a move back to Barcelona, but the Catalan club are not interested in a deal and do not believe their former player would ever sign for ‘Los Blancos’.
Miguelez added: “Barcelona do not believe Neymar will sign for Real Madrid, and they are calm because they have Lionel Messi. Barca believe Real Madrid do not have enough money to bring him in.”
However, Real president Florentino Perez sent Neymar a no-to-subtle message last week.
“Everyone knew that I wanted to sign him,” Perez said. “Being at Madrid would make it easier for Neymar to win [the Ballon d’Or]. Madrid is a club that gives big players what they need.”
