Ligue 1 champions Monaco have joined Premier League new boys Newcastle and Brighton in the chase for Inter Milan striker Stevan Jovetic.
The 27-year-old is believed to be surplus to requirements in Italy and spent last season on loan with Spanish side Sevilla.
The former Manchester City man registered seven goals and five assists in 29 games for the Spanish side, though it is thought that the Andalusians are not interested in a permanent deal.
Monaco are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements following the departure of Valere Germain and the expected departure of teen sensation Kylian Mbappe, who is thought to be closing in on a move to PSG.
English news outlet ‘Sky Sports News’ reports that Jovetic has already rejected an approach from Brighton this summer, with Rafa Benitez keeping a close eye on the Montenegro international.
