Manchester City v Arsenal preview and possible lineups

Arsenal will hope to bring Manchester City’s sensational start to the season to a halt when they travel to the Etihad on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s side are currently unbeaten in their opening 16 games in all competitions and are five points clear at the top of the Premier League table. City have won 14 consecutive games, a new club record, and have already scored 49 goals this term.

Arsenal are also in fine form, having lost just one in their last 13 games in all competitions but they remain nine points behind their opponents on Sunday.

City have no new injury concerns, with Vincent Kompany remaining on the sidelines and Benjamin Mendy a long-term absentee.

Potential lineups:

Man City: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Delph; Fernandinho, Gundogan, De Bruyne; Sane, Sterling, Aguero.

Arsenal: Cech; Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal; Bellerin, Ramsey, Xhaka, Kolasinac; Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette.
