Sakari Orava, the doctor who performed Ousmane Dembélé’s surgery, confirmed to ‘Cadena Cope’ that the Barcelona player had also damaged his femural bicep muscle.
Ousmane Dembélé, it turns out, sustained two injuries against Getafe. The revelation has been confirmed by Dr. Sakari Orava, the man who operated on the Barcelona attacker in Finland.
Orava confirmed that Dembélé, as well as rupturing his left thigh tendon, had also damaged his femural bicep muscle, a double setback for the Frenchman after his move from Dortmund.
Despite this new development, the doctor estimated his time on the sidelines as three and a half months, the same diagnosis as Barcelona’s official statement after the initial medical tests.
