Arsenal wants to get more players against any world cup

Ozil to Man Utd

20:17: Mesut Ozil is being strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in January.

Reports suggest he has even told pals that a mvoe is on the cards.

But would he fit in at Old Trafford – Express Sport has taken a look.

Madrid eye Bellerin

16:26: Arsenal star Hector Bellerin is reportedly wanted by La Liga and Champions League holders Real Madrid.

Arsenal defender Bellerin was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona over the summer, with many expecting the youngster to depart.

However, Ernesto Valverde’s side instead opted to sign Nelson Semedo from Benfica instead, with Arsenal pricing the Catalan giants out of a move.

But Spanish outlet Don Balon say that Bellerin is now tickling the fancy of Florentino Perez over at Real Madrid.

Ozil odds-on for United

11.00: Manchester United are now odds-on with Ladbrokes to be Mesut Ozil’s next club.

The Arsenal midfielder is 10/11 to swap the Emirates for Old Trafford and a January move is looking increasingly likely, with 3/4 on offer for the German ace to jump ships when the winter transfer window opens.

Ozil was 2/1 to leave in January less than two weeks ago – but reports suggesting the World Cup winners wants out of North London have forced the bookies to slash those odds considerably.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “With contract talks continuing to stall at Arsenal, it’s now looking increasingly likely that Wenger will cash in on his German playmaker in the coming months.”

“But if the latest odds are anything to go by, a decision to sell Ozil to United may result in an increase in sales of ‘Wenger Out’ banners during the second half of the season.”

Wilshere will get chances

08.50: Jack Wilshere will get Premier League chances, says Arsene Wenger.

Wilshere is yet to play a league match this season but has impressed in the Europa League.

He played a part in Olivier Giroud’s winner against Red Star Belgrade last night and Wenger was happy with his performance.

“I’m pleased for him,” Wenger said about Wilshere after the match.

“He will get a chance in the Premier League don’t worry for that. Games of that intensity will help him a lot.”

Wilshere hits back at Deeney… again

08.20: Jack Wilshere has had another dig at Troy Deeney after Arsenal’s Europa League win.

Arsenal beat Red Star Belgrade Belgrade 1-0 after Olivier Giroud’s late goal last night.

And Wilshere fired back at Deeney who claimed the club lacked ‘cojones’.

He posted on Instagram: “Great character, I told you we have some.

“Another three points at a difficult place. Shout out to the fans who travelled over, unbelievable support.”

Ozil to Man Utd

08.05: Mesut Ozil has sensationally told his team-mates he’s joining Manchester United, according to reports.

Ozil is out of contract in the summer and is keen to seal a move away.

And he may be about to follow Robin van Persie’s controversial path by heading up to Old Trafford.

The Mirror report that Ozil has even told his team-mates he’s teaming up with Jose Mourinho again at United.
